So I guess Bank of Americas site was down for more than 3 hours today. Which meant for people trying to bank online that would kinda create an issue.

Personally I didn’t think this was anything new at all. Shit I’ve had all sorts of issues with BofA online. I just thought it was part of their “quality” service.

There are a TON of sites that talk alot about certified nursing assistant stuff. So look around.

As the saying goes, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step; often registered nurses take their single step toward nursing by becoming Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA). CNAs take care of the most basic patient needs, including bathing, grooming, feeding, checking vital signs, dispensing medication and supplying kind words and companionship. Various states have specific guidelines for CNA requirements, including Arizona.

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Arizona CNA applicants must complete a specified amount of hours in a CNA program. Acceptance to one of these programs requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent. There are certain high school programs that will apply relevant coursework to your required CNA program hours.

Certified Nursing Assistant Program

CNA candidates in Arizona are required to complete a 120-hour nursing assistant program approved by the Arizona Board of Nursing. Nursing assistant programs are available at community colleges, vocational and technical schools, and generally take 12 weeks to complete. Students learn anatomy, physiology, first aid, infection control, medical terms and basic nursing practices. Students also receive supervised hands-on clinical instruction.

Arizona Examination and Certification

Arizona CNA applicants must successfully complete a nursing assistant examination before becoming certified. In addition to passing written and manual exams, candidates must provide a completed certification application, fingerprints for criminal background check, certificate fee (optional; provide only if physical certificate is desired) and proof of completion of board approved nursing program within two years of completing the CNA exam. If proof of program completion cannot be provided, candidates must present a certificate of completion from a 120 hour board approved nursing program in another state, or a certificate of completion from a board approved 75 hour program and proof of employment as a nursing assistant for 45 hours or proof of graduation from a RN or LPN program, RN or LPN licensure or completion of Arizona RN/ LPN educational requirements.

Arizona applicants who are transferring from another state must complete the above requirements or present proof of being on an active nursing register in another state and working performing nursing activities (even if certified nursing assistant is not in the job description), or has been employed as a CNA for at least 160 hours over the previous two years or has graduated from a CNA program and passed the CNA examination within the last two years.

“There arent any free classes that i know of. But if you go thru your local WIA office or jobsight/unemployment office they do offer programs that can get you help for the classes. That is what i did. So far they have helped me completely with my books, class tuition, and scrubs. CNA isnt a fix all, but its a start to a better life/career, im bridging over to LPN only because the tech school im goin to is hard to get into the RN program. Good Luck in whatever you decide. ”

As far as “free trials” I don’t see any for this. But they do have a deal they are running right now.
