SEO Link Vine is basically a linkfarm that comes with some content/article spinner software. The article spinner is to help you avoid duplicate content issues. The breakdown of how SEOLinkVine works is as follows.

In general I believe link farms can still work wonders if done right. The only problem is saturation. Meaning that the more people that have access to the link farm the less effective over time they will become.
