Beloit College Mindset List 2014 OOOHMY!

Wow this is crazy to think what college students think is the “past” to them. I realize things like this are just a part of growing up and old. But it’s very interesting still to see what people look at as nostalgic to them in their lifetime.

Here is a brief example from the list and here is the rest and a break down of other years from the beloit college mindset list. The list goes from 2014 to 2002. Read it and feel old (or young).

“Class of 2014

• Doctor Kevorkian has never been licensed to practice medicine.
• The first computer they probably touched was an Apple II; it is now in a museum.
• J.R. Ewing has always been dead and gone. Hasn’t he?
• Beethoven has always been a dog.
• One way or another, “It’s the economy, stupid,” and always has been.
• E-mail is just too slow, and they seldom — if ever — use snail mail.”
