Went to Michaels Craft Store and Target and picked up the materials.  I will add pictures of the final products once I am done.

I finished one pop filter and dug up some of my recording gear from storage. So far so good. I tested out the preamp for just a few minutes. But it really made a HUGE difference in overall quality. Before even mixing the audio is 10 times crisper and cleaner. 

Another thing I really dig about this preamp is the ease of portability and the option of phantom power. Which means I can use my favorite condenser mic. with no extra crap. 

Pictures, audio samples and a step-by-step guide coming soon. Along with total cost of duplicating this yourself.</description>
