Hi all,

Today, I was more than surprised to see a check from Catherine Steege (Jenner & Block in Chicago) with about 80% of my money back from the gift card I purchased years ago. It was truly a surprise since I followed up several times with Peter Siddiqui and Catherine Steege and they kept telling me it was too late and that I couldn’t receive any money back.

Definitely try to get in contact with her. The only number I have is on the letterhead the check came with, 312-222-9350. I hope everyone is getting at least 80% of their money back from that tool, Andrew.

I fear for the investors of his new biz, LingoMatch, hope they have better luck than all of us. I purchased the gift cards for multiple gift auctions for a small nonprofit cancer center. I had to explain to the donors what happened and felt awful. I offered to personally reimburse everyone b/c I believe in doing right by those I wrong.

Yes I am late but had misplaced the gift card received as a wedding gift. By all the previous comments, I guess I missed the deadline for recovery. I would love to hear if anyone was given a refund and what the status of this bankruptcy is.

Okay a little late, but I just found my gift card when I was cleaning out some stuff…..Like Rachelle I was going to save it towards something cool, guess not, what if you didn’t receive anything re a claim….I already know the answer…..tough !!!!!!

I have one of these stupid cards too. It was a wedding shower gift from a friend and I was holding onto it until I had the time/money to do something fun. Go figure. I saw that I missed the deadline listed in Danielle’s post a few months ago. Oh well.

I’m really glad that we’re all still keeping this post alive. It’s been 3 years and I still have this useless gift card staring at me. I just left a message on Peter Siddiqui’s phone, hoping for some decent news. Has anyone received a refund or additional updates on this situation?

Andrew Playford you are a dishonest man. I am sorry, but I can’t let this one go. I have over $500 in this pointless card sitting here now. Times are not the best and I am looking for ways to get back money and you are such a piece of shit for running the business the way you did.

If you are about to hire this man, DON’T. If you are about to buy something from this man, DO NOT BUY, HIRE, OR DO BUSINESS WITH HIM.

I found out from The Debtors attorney that only about 10% of the funds will be distributed. That is unacceptible.
